As an Affiliated Member of the Association of Christian Counsellors (UK), Bethany Ministries is committed to promoting sound professional standards and adheres to a recognised code of ethics and professional practice. All counselling enquiries and sessions are treated as private and confidential and the names of its clients are not disclosed to third parties including the counsellor’s supervisor.

Sally is English and has worked in multicultural environments since the '90's and moved more intentionally into pastoral counselling in Mongolia from early 2005. She has worked at Bethany as a counsellor since February 2007. Trained in Christian counselling with a Diploma in Clinical and Pastoral counselling from the UK and Master of Counselling Degree from UNE in Australia. She is also trained to help personnel debrief within a critical incident stress management framework and has experience in assisting in reviews at any stage in a person’s assignment.

Counselling sessions take place at Bethany on a residential or non-residential basis serving singles and couples. Both self-referrals and referrals from churches, missions and other agencies are accepted.

Fees are charged for counselling sessions with concessions made to Christian missions, organisations, churches and individuals on a minimum donation basis.
