Pastoral staff

Bethany is seeking pastoral staff who will respond in the strength of the Lord to the needs of the 2000 guests each year who come to us from across Asia for rest and renewal. Candidates will have extensive cross-cultural experience and a familiarity with current approaches to member-care. They will be approachable and prayerful. Bible-school training will be a major advantage.

This is an unsalaried position but modest accommodation is provided. Candidates will need the support and encouragement of a sending Church. For more information contact here.

Student Internship
Bethany is happy to offer Christian students the opportunity of internship with us. This will allow students the opportunity for hands on experience with a long established member care organisation.

The student will need to be pursuing a recognised course of study in a relevant discipline and be planning to be active in cross-cultural mission or member-care after graduation.

Interns will need to raise their own support to cover airfares and personal spending. Accommodation and meals are provided by Bethany.

Interacting with our guests gives a real insight into mission today and will help those who feel a call to mission themselves. It is particularly valuable for those who might be considering a role in administration or pastoral care. There are opportunities for interns to be involved in leading worship, outreach and small group work.
