Set on a hill in attractive grounds overlooking the Sea, Bethany's location is idyllic - five minutes to sandy beaches, peaceful walks around rocky coves and yet the town with its restaurants and shops is just nearby. Even the ferry ride to the island helps in the winding down process, as the pressure of the city is replaced by a small and friendly island with no cars, pollution or constant noise.

Our guests include Christians from all denominations and countries, full time workers as well as those in secular jobs. Come for the day or as long as you need.

The Bethany complex consists of four single storey buildings, surrounded by flowers, shrubs and trees, sitting areas and children's play facilities. Guestrooms are air-conditioned and well equipped. Most rooms have their own bathrooms. We are able to offer self catering rooms but booking for these can only only be done 6 weeks in advance.

Each building has its own sitting and dining room. Breakfast is provided each day and an evening meal is shared every day except Sunday. Mainly Western-style food is served. Guests may use the kitchen to prepare their own light lunch. Soft drinks, ice creams and snacks may be purchased in each building. Other facilities include washing machines and driers, A library of books, tapes, CDs and DVDs, videos, toys, puzzles and games will keep you all entertained.

Staff are on hand to meet the needs of our guests. We are committed to help with practical details and we are also here to listen and pray with you if you need us. If you want a particularly quiet time ask if there is space in "Quiet Cottage".
